FIFTY FIFTY (피프티피프티) is a South Korean girl group formed by Attrakt in 2022. The group consists of four members: Saena, Aran, Keena, and Sio. They debuted on November 18, 2022, with the single “Higher” from their first extended play The Fifty. Their viral single “Cupid” made FIFTY FIFTY the fastest K-pop group to enter the US Billboard Hot 100 and UK Singles Chart, doing so within four months of debut.
The group’s name, FIFTY FIFTY, means “50 ideal vs. 50 reality”, which delivers a message that there is a 50% chance of reality and a 50% chance of dream, and also they hope to be a whole 100 with their fans.
Their fandom name is HUNNY (singular) or HUNNIES (plural), which means FIFTY FIFTY (50) + their fans (50) = 100. Hunnies is an abbreviation of the number 100, and it also means “honey” used as an affectionate term of endearment between loved ones.
